 How am I ranked?
Active members are awarded points in the following way:
- 3 points when you submit a new item
- 1 point every time your item is voted Worth a Gaander
- 10 bonus points when an item you submit gets promoted
- 1 point for every comment made by another member on one of your items
- 1 point for every comment you post on another members item
The current month rankings include points associated with items submitted or promoted during the same month only. For example: commenting on an item submitted or promoted two months ago will earn you points in the overall rankings, however the points will not apply to the current month rankings.
If an item is removed, all user points associated with that item are also removed reflecting in the current month and overall rankings. Previous month rankings are saved permanently and therefore are not affected by removed items. |
